Ohbot Opera

Last year I had fun with a robot called the Ohbot Pi. I’ve always been a fan of opera arias (especially tenor’s) and I thought I might “teach” the Ohbot Pi to sing opera. The code is available here. I made two videos to illustrate what you can get, one with the aria Vesti La Giubba from Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, and one with Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot. It takes some manual annotation to do this, but I’m quite confident that someone will come up with a more automatic workflow… And here is what happens when artificial intelligence and the singing Ohbot join forces!
